The challenge:
Ramada Hotel Doha was opening a new Wing and rebranding as Ramada Plaza Doha. The new building contained 11 new F&B outlets including 6 Restaurants and 5 Bars. The new outlets needed Branding including naming, visual Identity, signage, promotional items and menus.
Restaurant Descriptions:
Greens
A high-class unique vegetarian cuisine aimed at the discerning palate wishing to experience the vibrancy, versatility and variety in vegetarian dining. At ‘Greens’ we focus on enlightening the taste sensation in a positive, nutritious and inspiring way.
Bombay Balti
Casual Indian restaurant specialising in Balti curry and our famous naan breads. ‘Balti’ refers to the steel or iron pot used to cook or serve, taken from the word ‘balti’ which means ‘bucket’ in Hindi. The atmosphere is casual but busy Indian curry house.
Quick, easy meals served with passion, complete with delicate fragrances and eclectic ambience.
Ruby Wu's
Traditional Chinese dining designed to fill the gap for excellent Chinese cuisine. Quick, fast-paced, busy atmosphere reminiscent of the vibrant energy of Hong Kong. Chinese cuisine is incredibly complex, varied, and rich in cuisine and possibilities. From dumplings to duck, sizzling beef to spiced snapper, there is bound to be something to bring out the dragon in you.
Pier 12
A seafood-lover’s paradise, offering the best of fish from around the world, flown in specially and cooked to your specifications. Explore the melting taste of Bouillabaisse soup or lobster ravioli or swim in the delicate aromas and culinary splendour of Dover Sole or Cromer Crab. Or choose your own special fish recipe!
Bentley's Grill
Offering the complete ‘steak experience’, featuring the best of Chateubriands and sheared Wagyu beef to satisfy the carnivore in all of us! Reminiscent of a private gentlemen’s club complete with fireplace, the tradition of fine dining is alive and well at ‘Bentley’s’ and if steak is not to your fancy, indulge in fish, duck or soufflé.
Bistro Bistro
So good we named it twice! Open 24/7 for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The meeting place for a more casual dining experience – your bistro for a coffee and a chat or a full course meal. Dine European style, sampling from Finland to Portugal, succulent roast beef from Britain or chicken ravioli from Italy…well you’ll have to find that out yourself!
Qube
Doha’s largest entertainment bar. This is the “IN” place to dance, eat and drink and enjoy being seen in a vibrant and fun atmosphere.The place to be on any night of the week for dancing, dinner or catching up over a drink with friends. It’s a first for Doha and is an attraction not only for the general public but also for corporate launches and events.
Manhattan
Intimate space with custom-made black leather-upholstered seats in elegant surroundings with wall art featuring the Manhattan skyline from space. Private, special, contemporary and exclusive.
Bubbles on Two
The Champagne and Caviar bar. On two floors, ‘Bubbles’ is the talk of the town for luxury and high-end cocktails. The atmosphere is cocktail lounge meets trendy bar meets exclusive club. Relaxing and casual sophistication. Room for privacy but open for celebration.
Orion
Roof top bar that serves tapas and special cocktail drinks.
Indochine
Lower Lobby Bar to enjoy a leisurely cocktail while you wait for your friends and to whet your appetite, enjoy the sights, sounds and delicate aromas of ‘Ruby Wu’s’ or ‘Bombay Balti’.

Each restaurant and bar concept was studied carefully and we generated 11 unique names and visual identities.
