The challenge:
Qatar Glass Industries, a startup invested in the business of high-quality glass production required a corporate brochure which detailed their services while solidifying their contemporary brand identity.
Since the nature of the services they offered were industrial, it was a challenge to tie in the modern look and feel into the very technical brochure.
Creative response:
The brand identity of QGI being built upon the inherent visual features and qualities of glass, it was logical to extend it into the corporate brochure.
The QGI logo was used as a recurring graphic device for the covers and copy-dominant pages, to build on the brand. This was extended into a very elegant and minimalist inspired brochure, with emphasis on balance, space and clarity. The cover and technical elements were emphasised using spot UV printing processes, reminiscent of the reflectivity of glass, while set against a simple grid system for the details describing their functionality.
The result:
The resulting brochure was elegant and was successful in making something as insipid as industrial glass production facilities interesting and easy to digest. |
